It's not the end of the world as we know it

Thu Apr 30, 2009, 12:47 PM
Today, the world is suffering.
A swine flu is everywhere...
Damn, fine, we understand that and I really feel very sorry for all the people that had died and, of curse, for their families, relatives and friends. My deepest condolences.
But there is one matter that is freakin' me out... seriously, people!!!, for the love of God, stop being such stupidly paranoic, please!!!. In a situation like these we have to undestad, first of all, that this is a virus that with the correct prevention and care, is curable. Let's all be careful and have caution in everything, this is not mend to last forever. Please, don't fall in paranoic madness, please, that is way more lethal than the fuckin' flu.

All this situation made me remeber a great song, R.E.M.'s "It's the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine):

+That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aeroplane,
Lenny Bruce is not afraid
Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn - world
Serves its own needs, dont misserve your own needs. Feed
It off an aux speak, grunt, no, strength, turn, ladder
Start to clatter with fear fight down height. Wire
In a fire, representing seven games, in a government
For hire and a combat site. Left of west and coming in
A hurry with the furies breathing down your neck. Team
By team reporters baffled, trumped, tethered cropped
Look at that low playing! Fine, then. Uh oh,
Overflow, population, common food, but it'll do. Save
Yourself, serve yourself. World serves its own needs,
Listen to your heart bleed dummy with the rapture and
The revered and the right, right. You vitriolic,
Patriotic, slam, fight, bright light, feeling pretty
Psyched

It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine

Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in foreign
Towers. Slash and burn, return, listen to yourself
Churn. Locking in, uniforming, and book burning, blood
Letting. Every motive escalate. Automotive incinerate
Light a candle, light a motive. Step down, step down
Watch your heel crush, crushed, uh-oh, this means no
Fear cavalier. Renegade steer clear! A tournament,
a Tournament, a tournament of lies. Offer me solutions,
Offer me alternatives and I decline

It's the end of the world as we know it (it's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (it's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine (it's time I had some
time alone)
I feel fine

The other night I dreamt of knives, continental
Drift divide. Mountains sit in a line, Leonard
Bernstein. Leonid Brezhnev, Lenny Bruce and Lester
Bangs. Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom! You
Symbiotic, patriotic, slam book neck, right? Right

It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine (it's time I had some
time alone)+

Be preventful, have care... the frakin' flu can be defeated with only that and then we can all return to our lifes.
By the way, if you feel really bad, not with symptoms, I mean afraid and all that bullshit, watch "Amèlie", really, I swear it hepls.

Right, I say goodbye right now... if someone disagre with my opinon, I truly respect that...
